Traveling with children
You are welcome to travel with children of all ages on board our aircraft.
Below we have compiled important information and tips for you who plan to travel with children.
Travel with infants (0-23 months)
Children under the age of 2 travel free of charge if they sit in the lap of the accompanying adult. In addition to the checked baggage that is included in the adult’s ticket, you can also bring 10 kg of checked baggage and a folding pram or high chair/child seat. An adult can travel with up to two children under the age of two. If you are traveling alone with two children under the age of two, one child should be sitting on your lap and the other child must have its own seat and sit in a rear-facing car seat / baby seat during the journey. One child travels free of charge and the other child for a child discount of 2-11 years.
We only accept car seats / baby seats with UN standard and marked with ECR R44 or ECE R44.
Traveling with children 2-11 years old
Children 2-11 years who travel in the company of an adult always travel at favorable child prices. We offer a 50% discount on the basic ticket price, excluding taxes.
Unaccompanied minors
We offer a special service with assistance for unaccompanied children between 5 and 11 years. The service is mandatory and must be booked through customer service on telephone 0520 – 82500 or info@vastflyg.se. Before you contact us to book a ticket, please fill in the following form with information about the child, who leaves and picks up the child and other information we need. The number of places for unaccompanied children is limited and if the service is not booked by us in advance, the child cannot travel.
