Explaining our different ticket types

Student
We offer students discounted prices on our trips. Pricing and conditions are based on our Light tickets.
The discount applies to full-time students studying in one of the following categories:
- Students in primary or secondary education
- Students in higher education or other post-secondary education
Valid identification
You must present a valid ID and student card upon check-in.
Booking
Booking a student ticket must always be done separately in the booking system.
Booking is made by selecting ”Student” instead of ”Standard” when you book your ticket in the booking system.
Youth (12-23 years old)
We offer young people discounted prices on our trips. Pricing and conditions are based on our Light tickets.
Youth ticket is valid for people between 12 and 23 years.
Valid identification
You must present a valid ID upon check-in. If this cannot be shown, travel is refused and the ticket is used up.
Booking
Youth tickets can only be booked individually or with a party where everyone is between 12 and 23 years old.
Booking is made by selecting ”Youth” instead of ”Standard” when you book your ticket in the booking system.
Senior
We offer seniors (from 65 years and over) discounted prices on our trips. Pricing and conditions are based on our Light tickets.
Valid identification
Seniors must be able to present valid identification at check-in.
Booking
Booking of a senior ticket must always be done separately in the booking system.
Booking is made by selecting ”Senior” instead of ”Standard” when you book your ticket in the booking system.
Children (2-11 years old)
Children travel for 50% of the base price of the ticket excluding taxes.
Children under 12 years must travel in the company of an adult, 16 years or older.

Booking is made by adding ”Children 2-12 years” where it says ”Passengers” when you book your ticket in the booking system.
Infants
Children under 2 years travel for free with Västflyg.
One infant per adult traveler.

Light
Reeboking: Yes, change is allowed at least one hour before departure. Cost SEK 500 plus any difference to the next available price range may be added. This applies per trip. Children up to 11 years and infants (0-2 years) traveling with an adult do not have a cancellation fee.
Refund: Yes, in case of illness. The ticket must be canceled at least 1 hour before departure and a valid medical certificate must be submitted no later than 30 days after departure for a refund. Any service fees will not be refunded.
Name change: Name change is possible at least 24 hours before departure. Cost SEK 500 per ticket.
Payment: Payment is made at the time of booking.
Checked baggage: 1 bag x 20 kg.
Carry-on baggage: Max 8 kg, measurements 45x35x20 cm.
Waiting list: No, only when upgrading to FULL FLEX.
Flex
Rebooking: Yes, change allowed at least one hour before departure. Any difference to the next available price range may apply.
Refund: Yes, cancellation with full refund is possible if cancellation occurs at least one hour before departure. Any service fees will not be refunded.
Name change: Name change is possible at least 24 hours before departure free of charge.
Payment: Payment is made at the time of booking.
Checked baggage: 1 bag x 20 kg.
Carry-on baggage: Max 8 kg, measurements 45x35x20 cm.
Waiting list: No, only when upgrading to FULL FLEX.
Full Flex
Rebooking: Yes, change of time and date of travel is possible at least one hour before departure at no cost.
Refunt: Yes, cancellation with full refund is possible if cancellation occurs at least one hour before departure. Any service fees will not be refunded.
Name change: Name change is possible at least 24 hours before departure free of charge.
Payment: Payment is made at the time of booking.
Checked baggage: 2 bags x 20 kg.
Carry-on baggage: Max 8 kg, measurements 45x35x20 cm.
Waiting list: Yes.
